About Serenity

Fertility treatment has a lot of moving pieces. We help you hold them together.

Women going through fertility treatment are often expected to manage a lot on their own. They leave their doctor’s office with a bag full of medications, a calendar full of dates, and a list of instructions that can feel impossible to keep straight.

Serenity fills in that space. We work alongside your fertility doctor, not around them. Our job is to be available on the days your clinic isn’t, to sit with you through the injections you’ve been dreading, to help you make sense of what’s happening in your body, and to make sure you’re walking into your next appointment feeling prepared.

What We Do (and What We Don’t)

We’re not a fertility clinic. We don’t diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or adjust your treatment plan. That stays entirely with your doctor.

What we do is handle the parts that fall in between. The injections you’re nervous about. The lab draws you need done locally. The mornings during your stimulation cycle when you just need someone there. The appointment before your cycle starts where you want to go through everything and actually feel ready.

Everything we do at Serenity is designed to complement your medical care. We work with what your provider has ordered and prescribed, and we keep them in the loop.

Our Approach

Serenity is not a fertility clinic, and we’re not trying to be one. Your fertility doctor manages your diagnosis, your protocol, and your treatment decisions. We handle the parts that happen in between those appointments.

We work alongside IVF clinics and fertility specialists by supporting patients through the practical and emotional side of treatment including injection administration, medication organization, lab draws, monitoring visits, and the kind of educational guidance that helps women feel less lost in the process.

When patients feel prepared and supported, the whole experience becomes more manageable. That’s the role we show up to fill, consistently, throughout your cycle.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Meet Kiara Maldonado

Kiara spent over eight years working in healthcare, six of them in OB-GYN and fertility. She held an MBA in Healthcare Administration and had spent years watching how fertility care actually worked in practice.

What she kept seeing was the same gap. Patients left their appointments informed enough to follow instructions, but not supported enough to feel confident doing it. The medications arrived. The calendar filled up. The questions piled up too. And between appointments, there was no one to call who actually had the time to sit with them.

Serenity came from that. Not from a business plan, but from watching what women actually needed and deciding to build the thing that didn’t exist yet.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Meet Kiara Maldonado

Serenity was founded by Kiara Maldonado, a Registered Nurse with a background in biomedical sciences, healthcare administration, and more than six years working in women’s and fertility health.

Kiara started Serenity after seeing the same pattern repeat itself in fertility care. Women leaving appointments with bags full of medications, complex instructions, and not enough time to ask the questions they needed answered. A lot of the hard parts of treatment were falling on patients to figure out on their own, in between the appointments where decisions were actually being made.

She opened Serenity to change that. A small, private space where women have access to a nurse who knows fertility care and has the time to sit with them through it — before the cycle starts, during the hard days of stimulation, and on the mornings when they just need someone there.

The appointments with your doctor are important. So are all the moments in between them. We’re the people who show up for those.
